Why didn’t my file size decrease?
If your file size didn’t decrease significantly, it likely means your DWG file was already optimized and didn’t contain much removable metadata or bloat. Files with minimal unreferenced blocks, clean layers, and no excess annotation scales will see smaller reductions. This is actually a good sign that your file is well-maintained!
What AutoCAD versions do you support?
We support all AutoCAD versions from 2004 to the latest release (2025+). Our system automatically detects the version from your file’s binary header and applies the appropriate optimization techniques. Both DWG and DXF formats are supported.
